Bulk Upload All Types Of Files In Google Docs
Google Docs seems to be a great alternative of Microsoft Office. Though Google Doc is yet to serve all the services that Microsoft Office offers, it sounds great in some manners like online OCR service, Batch PDF converter etc.
Tip: Extract text from images.
There are many features have included in it that we don’t know. One is you can upload any type of files in Google Docs.
Upload all type of files in bulk and optionally convert them when uploading
If you are using Google Docs from a long time then you might noticed that it allowed to upload you only the Office files so that it may convert them in their native file format. But recently Google has upgraded the upload policy and allows you to upload any type of files at a time. Obviously this addition sounds much when you are away of your home computer. Using Google docs you can access your important files from any where.

To upload your files
1. Open Google Docs and click on the “Upload” button from the dash board.

2. Click on “select files to upload”.

3. Select your files that you want to upload and then “Open”.

4. Now the list of all filws that you’ve selected to upload will be displayed.

If you want to convert Office files (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx etc) to its supported format in Google Docs then check the box “Convert documents, presentations, and spreadsheets to the corresponding Google Docs formats”. If you want to upload those files to a specific folder then chose it by clicking on the “Destination Folder” button and select the folder. Finally click on “Upload” button to upload those files.

What is your opinion? Does this addition in Google Docs help you?
