Change The Color Of Your Xp Icons:Customize As You Like
It is very impressive utility of windows XP to customize the folder by “icolor Folder Skin Selector”. You can change the built-in icons in customized icons. icolor is a cool application which lets you to change the colors of your explorer icons and customizing them. You also can assign different colors for different icons. (You might like also: How To Organize Desktop Icons Into A Particular Category) The most important utility of color is that it does not occupy any extra memory.It just work as the same mechanism of Windows default icon.
- At firs download icolor folder 1.4.2 or other version and Additional Skin Pack v1.2.1.
- Install icolor folder 1.4.2 and Additional Skin Pack v1.2.1.
- Open Skin Selector from start menu.

Chose the skin from left side.Now Check in the box “use generic folder icon defined in the skin” . 
Now you can change the color of the folders just by right clicking on the folder and then chose “Color Label”.You can chose the color from here.
You can also change the icon property by choosing “Custom….”
You can change all default icons to custom icons.
