Google Will Launch Google Cloud Connect Plugin for Office Doucments

In this fabulous internet age, cloud computing is quite conventional for its accessibility from any where on the go. Since today, people are not happy with Microsoft Office for lac of its interoperability. That is why people are trying to give many other office suites a try.

Suppose, you are in Office and you have the option of carrying your office works at home. Then either you have to carry the office laptop or buy a licensed Microsoft Office suite for your home computer so that you can edit your office documents at your home desktop.

But it would be great if you could able to save your Documents on cloud from office and later edit them using Google Docs staying at your home.

It seems that Google has realized the fact and decided to escape people from such inconvenience. According to Google, they are about to launch Google Cloud Connect plugin to move your documents to cloud from your Office suite.

How does Google Cloud Connect work

Google cloud connect plugin will be a simple application available for everyone who have a Google account including Google Apps for a smooth synchronization between Microsoft Office and Google Docs.

You can sync your Office documents to Google cloud directly from inside of the Office workspace. Once your documents are backed up, they will be available with a unique URL for future reference.

Another handy feature of Google cloud is that people will get relief from the version incompatibility. Say, your office computer has Office 2007 and you’ve saved your document normally without concentrating about the file version compatibility. Later, when you try to open that document in your home computer which has the older version of Office (2003), you should be frustrated as it won’t open there *. But, with Google cloud, you’ll never have to face such problem as all the documents synced from the Office suite, be it Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 0r 2010 will be saved in same file type and you can easily edit or access them from any where. It is worth to say that the service is totally free for all users.

After all, Google is familiar with its user and you can store your documents with confidence and with a guaranty of better security.

* The older Office version does not support the latest Office file types.
