#1. Download comment client for WordPress.
#2. Install the comment client for WordPress (It is an executable file).
#3. Now you have to upload the folder named “commentserver” to your WordPress plug-in directory via FTP. The folder commentserver can be found from the path C:\Program Files\Comment Client for WordPress (If you did not change the default installation location at the time of installation) in your computer.
#4. When starting the application first time, it will ask for the address of your blog, user name and password.
Note :Check for if the XML-RPC protocol is Enabled from your blog settings.If not then enable it.
#5. Now it will start to monitor all the comments on your blog one by one.
Here you can approve, delete and reply the comments, made on your site directly from this desktop client. 
You can also spam any comment or blacklist any IP address.
These tools sound a lot if you have multiple blogs and you get a large number of comments every day.
Using an Adobe Air application
Adobe Air is another application that lets you to moderate the comment from your desktop. The application runs in the background and allows you to approve, delete or mark a comment as spam. It notifies you of the pending comments from the system tray. But you can’t edit the content of the comment. The only down side of this application is that you can not edit the comment if someone has posted something wrong which you don’t want to publish.

As Windows live writer is a popular blog editing tool it may be very productive if you use Windows live writer to manage your blog comments. you can approve, delete or mark spam from Windows live writer using a live writer plug-in. However you can’t edit the comment from Windows live writer.
How to make ready your Windows live writer to mange the comments of the WordPress blog
Download this plug-in and paste it in the Windows live writer plugins directory, located at C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Writer\
After the installation of the plug-in, open Live writer and click the comment management link from the sidebar. Put your password in the pop-up window. Type in your log in password of your WordPress blog. The comment panel will show the latest comments made in your blog.
WordPress Comment Moderation Notifier
Some time back How-to-geek has released a useful application WordPress comment moderation notifier. It alerts users when a comment is in the queue for moderation. It will alert you from the system tray in your computer whenever a new comment has been made and waiting for your approval.

If you get a fewer comment then I’ll suggest you to use the Windows live writer plug-in.
If you have multiple WordPress blog then the WordPress comment client(for Windows) may sounds a great. You can archive all the comments and It lets you to manage the comments of multiple blog and to read one by one.
Adobe air is simple application to approve the comments from your desktop. It requires a small system resource. It is also compatible with the Linux or MAC.
WordPress Comment Moderation Notifier only notify you for the new comment. It does not allow to moderate the comments from your desktop.
